Preparations are already underway for Auckland’s 2018 Special Children’s Christmas Party on Saturday, 15 December, at the ASB Showgrounds.
This event brings together over 2,000 special children from over 400 groups (including the likes of Kidney Kids, Child Cancer, Autism NZ, Down Syndrome Association to name a few) who nominate children to attend this happy day.
At every event across New Zealand these children are treated to a day of celebrity stage shows, fun rides, interactive games, plenty of yummy food, face painting and many more fun activities. The highlight of the day is when the children enter Santa’s Toy Cave where they are given 2-3 high quality toys to call their own.
It is only made possible from the very generous support of the business community throughout New Zealand. Every business that supports receives recognition of their involvement through media partner NZME across a number of different radio stations throughout New Zealand. The event is also highly publicised through newspaper and television advertising throughout the country. Every business that sponsors is also invited to attend the event so they can see just how much their support has meant to these special needs children and their families.
